stop smoking withdrawal

When I stop smoking after a day or two I get so very tired and sleepy with weakness and fatigue and then I light up.

What would help me get through this?

Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it's not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).

i have been smoking a pack of newports every 3 days for about a year and i have decided to quit before its too late. What should i expect and how long should it last?

i havent had a cig since saturday (today is thursday). this is my first time ive ever tried to stop....or take a break from it. so far the biggest withdrawal symptom is crankiness. besides that, you do have urges but theyre not as bad as i thought they would be...mainly when im bored and have nothing to do i think about smoking. when i do get urges i just think of all the pluses ive experienced, which are.....

motsly u wantin a smoke. u gettin mad on ppl cos they not givin taht shiot on u, but they confusin cos u tell thme ot mak on that shiot bfor. so insted they givin u som chock cake an sftr som tiem you gettin fat on that shiot, an that stressin so u go back on thos smokin to stpo on the stressin of bebg ovrwiegt. that just a whol lien of rpoblem comin from thos smokin.

Stopped 4 days ago was on 30 a day.I am not wanting a smoke i just feel like crap.Sore head and throat,not sleeping etc any one who has stopped know how long this usually lasts for?
On 2mg chewing gum one piece in the morning.

I stopped smoking when I was just 2. Mom caught me smoking-- it took me 16 years to get her to stop smoking. However, Mom said that after 2 weeks of not smoking, the withdrawals were not easy;but, with the crud that she spit up out of her system and the nasty coughs ending, life became spectacular for her.
