stop smoking hypnosis

I am considering ordering Steve Ira Present's stop smoking hypnosis cd's and wanted to know if anyone has ever tried them and if they worked.

I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I use hypnosis to help my clients stop smoking on a regular basis. It is extremely effective. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with Steve Ira's programs. I looked on the net and see a lot of info regarding the effectiveness of his programs.

If you truly desire to quit smoking and the desire is coming from within (not external pressure) you will definitely be able to quite smoking with any program. I know that www.wendi.com has some amazing programs.

Good luck... the following will help:

*Identify with yourself as already being a non-smoker
*Force yourself to smoke during times you don't feel like it
*Don't allow yourself to smoke at your favourite times ie: first thing in the morning with your coffee
*Force yourself to pull over rather than smoke in a vehicle
and come with a positive attitude

I ran across a stop smoking hypnosis tape where the dr. had you go down a elevator to bottom floor then lay down on bed and relax.
Then he had you imagine you were made of glass or crystal and this bright orange liquid was filling up with scrubbing bubbles cleaning out all the toxins . ANyone know the name of the tape the dr. ?

it might be from New Life Clinics I went to a group seminar and all you mention sounds very familiar.

I think the man's name is Gorygan or something like that, stop smoking, weight loss

I live in Orlando and have been to a stop smoking seminar at the Holiday Inn in Altamonte Springs by the I-4 exit. I don't know if Gorygan was the guy that did it or not but I got the add out of the Orlando Sentinal. It was very good but the only problem is once you leave your ok for a day or so but after that you really start getting urges again. I found that a self hypnosis script that I could record my self reading the script and then listen to it really helped. I put it on everynight before I went to sleep for about a month. I've been smoke free for almost 2 years now.

How much would you pay to Stop Smoking , with Hypnosis ? I have a phenomenol success rate , at Stopping people smoking .........but how much would people really pay ?
No , I am not trolling for new customers.
For 11 years , I have been the cheapest Hypnotherapist in my area....and on a website of 2,500 other Hypnotists......

I have been advised to put my prices up Four fold........and I am looking for independent opinions.

I don't want to say what I charge , as that would influence the answers......
Brian T , the Hypnotherapist who said that if you have more than 2 or 3 sessions is a bit of a dork. World leaders in Stopping people Smoking , recommended a 4 session method , which I use.......and recommend , to any Hypnotherapist out there.

Doc for more years than you remember, I challege every method you put in front of me ! I will take on any Hypnotherapist , any and all methods , any and every Company , and any and every Stop Smoking Specialist , in Stopping people Smoking .......do me a favour ......accept my challenge.

As a Doctor , you should not "knock" the powerful affects of placebo, (25% in most things ?) in which you are quite right , most Stop Smoking methods would fall short of......but come on now Doctor , I am telling you that I have a method , with which I got 100% success rate for 11 months.......by using a method that has printed published results , of 82 % still not smoking 26 months after the last session......

I suppose about £15- £20 a session is what I would pay for hypnotherapy. I am not a smoker and suspect that nicotine patches have the edge over hypnotherapy, these are often availiable on the NHS.

I heard a hypnotherapist on the radio say that people should beware of having more than 2 or 3 sessions because if it has not worked by then it never will.

I have gone through attending a course to stop smoking but it only worked a short while and I’m back at it. Now someone suggested that I try to stop smoking through hypnosis.

I need to stop as my wife is mad and my doctor is telling me I may only have a few more years to live if I continue.

I was also tired of my doctor, friends and family getting on my back and telling me to stop smoking.

But even if you want to, it is not easy. I finally stopped smoking through hypnosis. I found a good course by Valerie Dawson. It is a guide that takes you by the hand and leads you step by step, teaching you the secrets of hypnosis that make quitting so easy.

The hypnosis sessions felt very relaxing and calming. I have not had any cravings and my wife is very happy.
