it's a chemical that blocks the nicotine receptors in your brain. Basically, the part of your brain that "needs" the nicotine is turned off. You don't feel like you have to have that cigarette. I'm on it now and I think it's wonderful
In the information pack given with the tablets it says it is not recommended to smoke whilst taking them but then further down it says to set yourself a date to give up smoking in the second week of taking them. How long are you supposed to take them for and do they work ?
You are suppose to set a date to quit and trust me by that date you will have quit already. It is designed to make the nicotine not give you the high that you normally get so when you smoke it tastes aweful and you won't want to smoke. I took them and I quit smoking. Yes they work, but you will have to try them for yourself. Every person is not the same.
