need ideas of how to stop all natural . i do not want the patch at all or other stuff. been smoking for 10 years need to stop . it has been 24 hrs since my last cig.

Good for you. I quit after about 30 years when I got scared straight! Had a chest x-ray and the doctor said he saw the beginnings of emphysema. All I could think of was my movement would be restricted and that condition never gets better. Stopped cold turkey. Next x-ray was fine. You should read up on emphysema.

I stopped 69 days ago. I registered with the Nicorette Activestop site, spent a fortune on nasal spray that I couldn't use cos it made me sneeze for hours afterwards. I then spent another fortune on lozenges which made me cough more than any c!ggie had ever done! I then decided that willpower would be the best and cheapest way for me and it worked! I used to smoke rollies, and a full pack of tobacco a day, and I had smoked for 37 years! I haven't cheated once, I've amazed all my family cos they didn't believe I could do it. I think if you want to stop smoking then you will, if you don't then you will fail. I had a good reason to stop I needed an operation, desperately, so that gave me the incentive. Think of something you want and I am sure you will succeed too.

p.s. I had the first half of my surgeries on 13th August and am doing really well for now. I have to have more in November but that will be a piece of cake as I've had the hardest part done! lol:-D
