OK I am 20 yrs old still under my mom's health insurance. I have been smoking since I was 16. Now I want to quit. I have a friend that did laser therapy to quit and she says it the greatest thing she ever did. I want to know does laser therapy actually work and I don't know how to figure out if the health insurance will cover laser therapy to quit smoking.

Oh, please, people, stop whining. I was a smoker for 26 years, anywhere between 1.5 and 4 packs a day, and I quit cold turkey, the first take - which is the ONLY way to quit. All of you looking for these stupid security blanket methods and fake therapies are just looking for excuses to never really quit, hiding behind your role of an eternal victim of bad big tobacco companies. Grow a spine and quit, that's all there is to it, there's no nicotine addiction, no nothing, it's all just whiners' victim blues and sobbing.
Oh - and yes, I know at least 4 more people around me whi did exactly the same, after having been smokers for comparable times, in comparable numbers.

My husband heard an advertisement while in Chicago this weekend for Laser Therapy to quit smoking. It is through 1800nosmoke.com.
I checked out the site and testimonials (which I never believe) so I wanted to know if anyone here has used it or know anyone that has and what the results were?
Thanks in advance!
My dad has, it works for alittle while but then you have to come in many times after the first. It is a big waste of money, the results are not permanent.
Quit Smoking Drugs That Effectively Retrain Your Smoking Desire
Quit Smoking Laser Therapy If you want to stop smoking, Zyban, a prescription drug sold under the generic name Bupropion hydrochloride, is one option that your doctor may suggest. Included in this site is Chantix information (the only other prescription drug that is currently approved by the FDA for smoking cessation), Zyban information, stop smoking facts and a brief summary of options for those who want to quit.
According to the latest Gallup poll, 21% of American adults currently smoke. That is the lowest the figure has been since the annual poll began in 1944. It’s good news, but it still means that there are many people out there who have to stop smoking Zyban is considered a “first choice” medication for people who want to quit.
