I am taking a blood test I dint know if they will test for nicotine but can i test positive for nicotine threw second hand smoke?
The test will probably be for cotinine, rather than nicotine (cotinine is what the liver breaks down nicotine into). It shouldn't give a significant level if you've only been exposed to passive smoke to a limited extent and providing you haven't been eating things that contain nicotine anyway.
(nicotine is a naturally occurring chemical that appears in many plants in the nightshade family, tobacco (obviously), but also to a lesser degree in the others, potato, tomato, green pepper and eggplant).
If they do query it, then you could try blaming the eggplant casserole
I smoke shisha , if I stopped smoking it today , for how long would my blood test positive for nicotne ?
I'm sorry, but I'm afraid it would be a very long time until there was no nicotine in your blood.
Maybe a few weeks or months. There is really no way to be sure.

I mean nicotine is actually said to have calming effects and can help out with focus as well.
Nicotine gum, patches, anything of the sort should do the same as smoking, not to the same degree of course.

i have to take a nicotine test, my friends and family smoke, but i havent smoked in a month, will second hand smoke show positive on the test?
it may show a degree of second hand smoke but if it's a doctor doing it then you should be fine as he will see that the level is that of a second hand smoker.

Smoking Cessation (Part 3) | Medical Today
Generally, the longer one has smoked and the greater the number of cigarettes (and nicotine) consumed, the more likely it is that withdrawal symptoms will occur and the more severe they are likely to be. When a smoker switches from regular to low-nicotine cigarettes or significantly cuts back smoking, a milder form of nicotine withdrawal involving some or all of these symptoms can occur.
These are some of the withdrawal symptoms that most ex-smokers experience in the beginning of their new smoke-free life:
• dry mouth
• mood swings
• irritability
• feelings of depression
• gas
• tension
• sleeplessness or sleeping too much
