nicotine cigarette

Anyone know how to conduct a simple home test to test the nicotine level of a cigarette? I mean maybe using a chemical that binds the nicotine in cigarette smoke, or something. I tried using water in a bottle. Puffed cigarette smoke in the bottle and closed it. No good results though. So maybe any of you have any idea, all is welcome.

Don't know how to test it but in UK nicotine and tar level etc is on the side of the pack.

I would also like to know, how many cigarettes does it take to extract 50mg of pure nicotine.

One time I smoked this cigarette and it caused me to turn into a mannequin for 3 years. I sucked really hard on it, and like during the third suck, I felt my body stiffen up, and I was like "ah shit, I can't move," and then I turned into a mannequin. I screamed in my mind, because I could see and hear, but was a stone cold mannequin and couldn't move. Then this guy came and put me in his store, I screamed constantly in my head, but evenutually learned how to tune things out - until the owner of the store drilled a hole up my ass and starting have sex with my stiff, mannequin body, that really made me scream inside, but I couldn't move. His kids would come up to me with a baseball and hit my hard, plastic head right off, I screamed in pain, but of course no one heard me, cause the screaming was only inside my mannequin head. Then someone stole me from the store, and did some magic spell that made me human again, but I have to live with them, and am only human for 3 months, then I get turned back into a mannequin again. Ahhhh S-h-i-t!!!!!!!

My grandparents, who both smoke heavily,recently bought new living room furniture and they gave us their leather sectional couch to put in our den in the basement. The couch is a cream color but it is badly stained yellowish brown from all of the cigarette smoke and nicotine in their house. What could I use to get all of that off without ruining the leather?

You can go to an auto parts/supply store and buy Armorall (I think that's how you spell it) for leather. It's a cleaner that's very easy to use. I use it on my leather wing backed chair all the time and used to always use it on my leather car upholstery when I had it. They also sell it in supermarkets or hardware stores too.

If you've ever smoked a clove cigarette, you'll know the difference. I just want to know what the active ingredient or whatever in clove cigarettes that causes your body to react in such a fashion..

Contrary to popular belief, clove cigarettes, also called kreteks, contain tobacco — they are made up of 60 - 70 percent tobacco and 30 - 40 percent shredded cloves (a spice). Considering their tobacco content, clove cigarettes are probably as harmful and dangerous as regular cigarettes. As a matter of fact, kreteks may hold even more risk than ordinary smokes. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), clove cigarettes produce at least twice as much nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide as regular American cigarettes brands.

Plus, there may be an additional risk due to their clove content. The major active ingredient in cloves is eugenol, which is a topical anesthetic used in dentistry. The short- and long-term health effects of eugenol are not well known, and little inhalation toxicology research has been done on this substance. However, when smoked, eugenol numbs the throat and impairs the gag reflex. This anesthetizing effect could cause some problems; for example, liquids and/or food could more easily go down the wrong pipe. Smokers may not feel the harshness of the smoke as strongly, so they are more likely to inhale the smoke more deeply and hold it in the lungs for a longer period of time before exhaling. As a result, it's possible, or even likely, that eugenol has the potential to facilitate lung infections, respiratory illnesses, or allergic reactions in certain users, especially in smokers with existing breathing problems and/or other sensitivities.

Although clove cigarette smokers share some adverse health symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, allergic reactions, bronchitis, pneumonia, and coughing up blood, the cause-and-effect relationship between smoking clove cigarettes and these symptoms has not yet been definitively established. Regardless, it seems reasonable to assume that clove cigarettes are as harmful and dangerous or even more so than standard cigarettes.

Clove cigarettes are one of several kinds of alternative smokes. Others include bidis (tiny, inexpensive, flavored dark tobacco containing cigarettes hand rolled with a dried tendu leaf), herbal or vegetable-based cigarettes with no tobacco and nicotine, and additive-free, natural tobacco cigarettes. Often, alternative cigarette smokers are part of the under 30 crowd. People smoke the "alternatives" because they think that they are cool and/or safer, healthier, and more natural to smoke than standard smokes. Cool or not, smoking alternative cigarettes can be as harmful and even dangerous to one's health as regular ones.

I was wondering if a minor could legally smoke an electronic cigarette using the nicotine-free cartridges that most of them have. I don't see why it would be illegal, but just wondering.

Knowing our fuc*'d-up legal system, they probably are illegal.

The same way the realistic-looking repainted plastic toy guns are.
