my dad thinks i been smoking and he said he was going to go and have a nicotine blood test done on me how many days can that blood test go back on?

if it can go back more than 2 days r there any way that i can make it go out of my system faster?

Well, I've had an eye problem and something is growing on the top of my eye. But the Doctor might have a blood test, and I know you can detect nicotine in the blood. And she might tell my Dad about it. If I got caught being a smoker my Dad wouldn't think twice about beating me.

Please don't tell me to quit smoking or talk to my Dad about it. Just give me an answer.

When doctors run blood tests they test specifically what they're looking for. I can't think of any eye conditions that would require a doctor to know your blood nicotine level, so they will not be testing for it.

Also, they cannot run tests without your consent. They would have to ask if it's ok to test for nicotine. Also, due to doctor-patient privilege, they are not allowed to discuss their findings with your father without your consent.

Ok, my cousin wants to volunteer at the hospital...and they told her something like because she is underage or something they are gonna test her and stuff...the thing is she smokes ciggs. Can they tell from your blood that you smoke ciggs? Like if they check your blood for nicotine or whatever? Is that possible?

It is possible to test blood for nicotine, but that is virtually never done. Nicotine is not a controlled substance. Even though it is really bad for ones health, there is no law law prohibiting it.
The law as it regards to cigarettes, is that it is against the law to sell cigarettes to a minor, or anyone under the age of 18.
Tell your cousin to stop smoking, or instead or volunteering at a hospital, she might one day be a patient in one.

I am being tested for nicotine in 2 weeks. if i stop smoking now will it be out of my blood? I will be tested specfically for this for a surgery I am having. The doctor wants to make sure I really quit for the time I need which is one month but blood test will be done 2 weeks before. Anyone know for sure if quitting from today for 2 weeks will clear it out of my body?
