Lh Test

I ordered some LH test strips on ebay and they came in Monday with no instructions. I took one Mon nite like you would a preg test and got a positive, then I took one tues and got a positive, and I just took one and got a positive, all the lines are about the same color. we bded every nite since sun so I think my bases are covered, am I just ovulating for a long time or what is going on?

The LH is the surge that the test picks up before you ovulate. So when you get your positive on an LH test that means you should ovulate within 48 hours. The LH surge is usually tricky to detect as it is usually only picked up within a 24 hour period. So if your getting positives 3 days in a row you must have defective strips.

I used the ones from the website below. Maybe the instructions can help you. I wouldn't order from Ebay again for something like this. Also, just to throw this in there. I was TTC for 15 months. I got the male and female FertilAid pack from this site and was preggers in 3 weeks. Good luck and don't give up!

**Sorry, I just read up on the LH surge from the link below under "instructions" It does say that it is possible to get a positive for 3 days! I'm a bit rusty on the topic, it's been a while!

according to my study i think once you miss you Af you can take a test after 5-7 days beq tillt hent he hcg level is high. hope for the best i will pray for you.

It is the 15th day of my cycle and i have been testing for 5 days. i have all the signs of ovulation, feeling randy, cerviix mucous etc, but negative lh test. does that mean no ovulation this month or late ovulation. my test strip has the faintest of positive lines barley visible. i am new to this opk stuff, help would be appreciated

An opk is not positive unless the test line (the line on the left) is AS DARK or DARKER than the control line (line on the right) I used an opk last month and ended up having to buy 2 kits because I ovulated late got my positive on cd17. This month, thankfully, I started testing early because I got my positive on cd11. I have always had very regular cycles but then I miscarried in March so I've been seeing a change. Could be your going to ovulate later, but just have sex every other day regardless of what your opk says then as previously said, you won't miss it!!!

I had irregular periods, on clomid now, having regular periods. Started on Jan 18th took clomid from the 22-26th. Started LH testing on the 29th and have been negative every morning. Today I have cramping in the lower abd and my back.... I have some white discharge (sorry if that sounded nasty) Can those tests not detect LH or are they fool proof???

Let me tell you, I was taking them and I never got a positive. I read that thtey are not always accurate. I know I ovulated b/c of all the other symptoms. I'm not using them anymore, i'm just going to trust my body.
