Home Drug Test Kit

I'm 17, and I have a drug test in two days for a job. I wanna make sure I'm gonna pass it, so I want to buy a Drug Test Kit. I don't really know anything about them, but I heard they work perfectly. But i'm only 17,so am I able to purchase one? Plus if I am, can I just buy one at a local store?

If you smoke weed only get a "single panel thc test kit" found at walgreens or CVS they run anywhere from $4 to $12 you will find them close to the home pregnancy test and condoms, very close to where the pharmacy is located.

5 panel or NIDA5( The National Institute of Drug Abuse requires that companies test for five specific categories of drugs)
· Cocaine – Includes Cocaine, Crack and Benzoylecognine
· Cannabinoids – Includes Marijuana and Hash
· Amphetamines – Includes Speed, Methamphetamines and amphetamines
· Opiates – Includes Heroin, Opium, Codeine and Morphine
· Phencyclidine – PCP

7 or more panels- for additional drugs such as:
· Barbiturates – Including Phenobarbital, Scorbarbitol and Butalbital
· Hydrocodone – Including Vicodin and Lortab
· Mehqualone – Known most commonly as Quaaludes or Ludes
· Benzodiazepines – Includes Valium, Xanax, Librium, Serax and Rohypnol
· Methadone
· Propoxyphene – Includes Darvon compounds
· Ethanol – Known as Alcohol
· MDMA or Ecstasy

Also use the first pee of the day. That is when your urine will have the highest concentration of metabolites.Pee 3 or 4 times and check again.

I took a home drug test for THC last night and it came back negative but the negative line was really,really faint but it was still there. Why was the line so faint?

There could be a few reasons why this may occur. Let’s talk about how a drug test works and what are the differences between an instant home drug test and a lab based drug test.

First of all urine drug tests do not test for the drug specifically, but rather they test for the metabolite of the drug. Meaning it tests for what the drug turned into after it was consumed by an individual.

An instant drug test or screen for THC (Marijuana) tests at a level of 50 ng/ml. Meaning anything over 50 ng/ml will come back positive and anything below that will be negative.

A lab based test will also screen at 50 ng/ml, but and here’s the kicker if the test shows questionable or if it’s positive the lab will do a confirmation test called GC/SM and this test is 100% accurate. It’s so accurate that it will test at a level of 15 ng/ml.

Now back to your home drug test kit. A faint line is counted as a line and it's a negative result. Now with that being said, if a line is so faint that one can barley see it then it’s questionable. When a line is so faint that you can barley see it one must say that you’re hovering at the cut off level and if you took a lab based test you would probably fail. You need to take another test to see if it’s still really faint. Also be aware that urine samples taken during different times off the day will have different concentrations of the drug metabolite. i.e a morning urine sample would have a much higher concentration the a sample taken in then afternoon.

about to go to walgreens to get one. im curious how accurate they really are, or what the best brand is, but more than that if theyre really accurate. is because its a home drug test kit that its not as good as a meps piss test?
i have stopped taking drugs. ive stopped doing them for the rest of my life because im joining the Army. i want to put all my energy into being a good Soldier. ive been clean for about 5 weeks. im just wondering about the home drug test kits.
