How can I make the test for hepatitis c -ve so that I can work in Saudi Arabia?

I have Hepatitis c . The test for antibodies is +ve and so not allowed to work or live in Saudi Arabia.
I asking if there is any way to make the test -ve ( false -ve)???????

There is no way to make the antibody test negative. Even if you clear the virus yourself (about 20 per cent of people do) or if you successfully cure the hep C with peginterferon and ribavirin, the antibody test will still show positive.

How do I determine my hepatitis c test results? Do I have hep c?

I gave blood last year and they sent me a letter saying that my screening test was positive, my riba test was indeterminate, and my nat test was negative. I then went to the health department and there test was negative. Six months later My doctor did a complete hepatitis virus panel and liver function test and all was normal. So what does it all mean?

Liver functions & liver enzymes can be in the normal range even when you have Hep C. 40% of people with HCV have enzymes in the normal range. If I were you, I would redo the hepatitis screening test. It should be either "reactive" or "non-reactive"; if it is non-reactive, then you have not been exposed. If it is reactive, then you will need another test to determine if you have chronic, active hep c. That test is the HCV PCR RNA. If that one comes back detecting any number , then that means you have Hep C. Best wishes to you.

Can someone help explain the hepatitis C RNA test?

Hello
My fiance has hepatitis C. I got tested for hepatitis c and it came back negative. That was the antibody test.

-To be sure since the antibody test has a window period, my fiance had me get the RNA test.

-how much more accurate is this test?
-What is the likelihood that I could have contracted hepatitis C from her and it not show on the HCV antibody test?

Simply put, you do not have hcv! (not to mention it's rather difficult to acquire sexually since there has to always be blood present and infectious blood to bloodstream has to take place).

Antibody test is used to see if you have hcv markers (been exposed)
Quantitative tests can detect the presense of active HCV viral load...if there was no viral load- even as early as two weeks after exposure, I highly doubt you have hcv infection.

The proof that hcv is not an std is in your test results. Relax and take a deep breath....

As for the acuracy of the test, neither is really better than the other since they both serve as testing for different reasons for the same disease. Usually if the antibody test is negative, a person would normally wait until about day 50 to retest and skip the RNA testing, unless you are high risk, ie, nurse, doctor, emt....drug user etc...

i did a 3month hepatitis c test it came back neg.now i did a rna test. do you think i be fine?

had protected sex with a girl and she told me she had hepatitis c later on. i did 3 test in the past 3 month and the last one was at 3 month after exposure. all was neg. do you think i be fine? they did a rna test monday but it has not came yet.do you think it will change?
have symptoms tired. right upper side pain. iam doing the rnr, pcr test they say that is golden

linda is correct. hcv is not an std simply because under normal sexual activity- with or without a condom, there is no blood to blood contact.

hcv corpuscles found in all other bodily fluids will not result in hcv infection even if you have an open wound.
ie, semen, vaginal fluid, tears, mucus, saliva, breast milk do not harbor active or transferable virons. why? NO BLOOD.

BLOOD TO BLOOD TO BLOOD TO BLOOD is the ONLY way you can acquire HCV infection!!!!! Not condom to vagina- heck not even penis to vagina! (UNLESS there was blood to blood!)
