Hair Follicle Drug Test

Ok I have not smoked weed in about a month and 1/2. I am going to be starting a new job soon and my problym is that they will be doing a hair drug test after my probation period. That is either 3 or 6 months. I would like to hear from the people that have used some kind of product that takes the thc out of your hair. Im not interested in using bleach, dying, or shaving my hair. I dont care about stupid comments on how i shouldnt have been smoking weed. I just need to hear from those who have passed a hair test.

I did a google search on "hair follicle drug test" and found lots of sites. One of them said - "A standard hair follicle screen covers a period of approximately 90 days". So four months after your last smoke you should be ok. Here's one site:

I'm just a teenager and I'm applying for jobs at the mall (Forever 21, Hot Topic, etc) and other various places such as jamba juice. Would those jobs ask for a hair drug test?

It costs a company a lot of money just to do a urine test and I would imagine it would cost them even more to do a hair follicle test. I can't imagine any retailer shelling out the money for that.

I am a drug and alcohol counselor, and I test people daily, you really cant beat any of the tests but the hair follicle test is absolutely impossible, there is absolutely noooooo way. And it is also the most accurate test it detects drugs in your system for so much longer. If they are testing for marijuana it can be anywhere from 6months to a year before you pass, for methamphetamine, opiates, and cocaine, its about 6 months as well. It is rare for someone to do a hair follicle test because its expenzive and it does date back so far, so you could hve used marijuana 9 months ago and it would still e positive so they usually dont li

it, because they want to know what your doing more recently like in the past month and the hair follicle doesnt tell you that, but I dont work with the hair tests, I do urine and mouth swab tests on my clients and I always send them out for blood work to get their tox levels.

I have permanently quit smoking cigaweed but it has only been about 2 1/2 weeks. I am looking hardcore for a job and I know the drug testing will probably be inevitable. I am pretty confident on how to pass a urine test (lots & lots of water, cranberry juice, a little vinegar, and exercise) but don't have any idea if the company does the hair test. I don't even know if you can make yourself pass it. Also, in case needed, I am 5'7" and 190 lbs. (yes I know there is more to love but we don't need to talk about that :) Thank you for any help.

Shave everything.... There's a story of someone who shaved there head before a drug test. When he arrived they plucked an arm hair and he failed his test. lol

I believe that my daughter may be experimenting with drugs. She has been showing classic signs of this. I have also been told by one of her friends that she had used cocaine at a party a few months ago. I am wondering how accurate the hair follicle test is? Will it be able to tell me if she has used drugs, even if she has only used one time?

Generally it takes about 5 days for drugs to show up in a person's hair and will be detectable in new hair growth for up to 90 days. Most likely, the cocaine use will show up in a hair follicle test. If she took a urine test, the cocaine would probably be out of her system in less than a week.
