Hair Drug Test

I have a hit of pot each night before going to bed. What is the best way to pass a drug test? It's a hair test, not urine.

Do the shampoo's work? Is it worth shaving my head, or is that too suspicious?
Okay, okay, yes I know that NOT doing drugs is the surest way. Quit being judgemental a**holes and stating the obvious. I'm looking for serious answers. Obviously I've already smoked pot, and the test is next week. There's no use in telling me "well, if you never smoked in the first place", unless, of course, you like sounding like a snooty do-gooder who has nothing to do but look down your nose at me.

If you shave your head, they will get hair from somewhere else. At least that's what my last company did. They will find a hair or two SOMEWHERE.

For hair test -up to 90 days.(every .5 inches = 30 days back, and Lab require a sample of hair that is about 1.5inches )
So..hair purifier.Check at at your local head/tobacco shop or online.
But it takes approx 5-10 days from the time of use for the affected hair to grow above the scalp.
So ...will depend on the length of your hair , on who is performing the test, the cost of the test, the expectations and federal requirements.
How do you know for sure a hair test is going to be required?(Hair tests are much more expensive).Don't risk If you are on the line, invest in some clean up products.

And don't shave. This does not usually work (they can pull from under the arm,leg also and pubic ,hair shaving the head only means some one is guilty of doing drugs).

Ok I have not smoked weed in about a month and 1/2. I am going to be starting a new job soon and my problym is that they will be doing a hair drug test after my probation period. That is either 3 or 6 months. I would like to hear from the people that have used some kind of product that takes the thc out of your hair. Im not interested in using bleach, dying, or shaving my hair. I dont care about stupid comments on how i shouldnt have been smoking weed. I just need to hear from those who have passed a hair test.

I did a google search on "hair follicle drug test" and found lots of sites. One of them said - "A standard hair follicle screen covers a period of approximately 90 days". So four months after your last smoke you should be ok. Here's one site:

People have to take hair drug tests. How are the results broken down? By time? By hair section? By length? How many sections are there? Is there a standard set of drugs that are tested for? Does anyone have a link that shows an actual hair test result report?

I just want to share a little tid bit that happened to a buddy of mine... he was going in for a new job and knew there would be a hair test, so the idiot shaved his head. The test person didn't even bat an eyelash, she just lifted his arm and snipped off some of his armpit hair before he even realized what she was doing. So my guess would be that the hair does not need to be very long. Just wanted to share my story in case you're thinking of going bald for your test!

I have permanently quit smoking cigaweed but it has only been about 2 1/2 weeks. I am looking hardcore for a job and I know the drug testing will probably be inevitable. I am pretty confident on how to pass a urine test (lots & lots of water, cranberry juice, a little vinegar, and exercise) but don't have any idea if the company does the hair test. I don't even know if you can make yourself pass it. Oh and yes I know that I shouldn't have even done it in the first place so you don't have to let me know that yourself. Thank you for any help.

Since you are using the term "legitimate" which means "legal" then, no, there are no ways to legally pass. As a matter of fact, there are no ways i know of to pass a hair test, since the hair, once grown, is inalterable at the chemical level. You should already be clean in the urine (and blood, as well) since the body is a wonderful toxin filter. It depends on what type of job, if they will do a hair test. High-profile jobs (security, public) may do a hair test. Most places that do random testing usually will not, because they are interested in what you *are* doing, not in your past. My only suggestion (if this is feasible) is to cut your hair really short.
