Follicle Test

I am looking into doing an independant hair follicle drug test or even a court ordered hair follice test (if that is what it takes) to prove my innocence in a child custody battle. I cannot find anyone that does independant hair follicle testing and the only places that do have it are these sketchy online sites.

My question is, does anyone know of a credible hair follice testing facility and how much it cost?

I have to take a hair follicle test. Will the test pick up each and every time I smoked, or does it pick up more habitual use like daily? What about if I smoked daily for a week about a month ago and nothing before or after that, will it show up on the follicle test?

Hair is capable of recording medium to long-term or high dosage substance abuse. Chemicals in the bloodstream may be transferred to the growing hair and stored in the follicle, providing a rough timeline of drug intake events. Head hair grows at rate of approximately 1 to 1.5 cm a month, and so cross sections from different sections of the follicle can give estimates as to when a substance was ingested. Testing for drugs in hair is not standard throughout the population. The darker and coarser the hair the more drug that will be found in the hair. If two people consumed the same amount of drugs, the person with the darker and coarser hair will have more drug in their hair than the lighter haired person when tested. This raises issues of possible racial bias in substance tests with hair samples.

My friend needs to take a hair follicle drug test as soon as possible for a new job. She has been clean from everything for about 2 weeks. She knows that it is highly unlikely that she will pass but is there any kind of detox out there that might help? Maybe something to detoxify her body so that her system will be clean and then maybe she can shave her head (she has really short hair already) and wait for the new clean hair to grow out, and THEN she can go take the test. Does anyone have any ideas?

Shaving her head is not going to help a thing. They can get hair from anywhere on the body, and they do, even the pubic region! Your hair acts like rings in a tree trunk. Everything is stored there. Unfortunately, there is nothing she can do to pass a hair follicle test.
