Drug Test

Alright, well friday i smoked weed for the first, only, and last time ever. i hated it! but i am trying to get this job that requires a drug test. they havent called yet but it is very likely they will offer me it. i just want to get the weed out of my system asap!! so i was wondering what are some easy home remedies or whatever i can do to get it out of my system fast. please help! and how long do you think it would be noticable in my pee?? help! please!

Uhh yeah youre kinda screwed. It takes a month atleast to get out of your system.
There are pills you can take which flush out your system but i forgot the name

I am getting ready for my drug test to be a police officer in Connecticut and was just curious as to what type of drug test is used..is it urinalysis? or anything else?

Why are you trying to cheat? They catch liars and cheaters on the polygraph test. To answer your question, they use the one that checks for drugs. I hope this helped, good luck.

It says on the Cathay Pacific website that one of the requirements is to pass a medical assessment soo, i need to know what kind of drug test they give for the flight attendant position, i need to know if the drug test is urine, blood or hair. A medical assessment will include checking your back and neck to see if there are any problems with lifting, standing, walking. (Their flights are long haul so you have to be able to walk and stand for longer times)

Drug tests are administered under the Dept. of Transportation requirements. Could be any of the three methods you mention or it could be a combination of two of those mentioned. Extensive background check will be done on you as well to give you clearance to work at the airport and have ramp access.

I don't mean how long does it take a patient to see the drug test results. What I mean is how long does it take to do a drug test and find the result. I need the minimum time. There is a drug testing center here in our place and I think their not actually testing the urine samples because they do it so swiftly. I think there are just up for the money, and not for the importance of the result. I've never heard someone who did a drug test in this clinic who tested positive. Just wondering folks.

if they hop to it, it only takes a moment, all they do is dip a stick into it and if it changes colors then it is positive, it's kinda like a pH test strip. because it's chemicals they don't have to get out the microscope and do all that fancy stuff they just dip and report. I think some of the test may take like 5 minutes to result at the most. And the reason you have never heard of it is because most clinics send all their labs out except simple things like blood sugar, strep and flu test stuff like that.

I have been taking flying lessons for the past couple of weeks and am about to get my physical. This is required to fly solo, and I was wondering if I have to pass a drug test at my physical. I don't really do drugs, but I smoke a little doober about once every two weeks or so. Will I pass this drug test and should I be worried?

During your physical exam you will need to give a urine sample which the doctor will test for diabetes. That's about it. There's no drug test per se that happens.

That said, I'd suggest VERY strongly that you do NOT smoke "a little doober" because if you are less than 100% able to fly and the FAA finds out, you will lose your license.

Remember the IM SAFE rule for flying? Follow it... it's good!
