I get drug tested by my parents every two weeks. I want to know, if I just smoke 1 time, how long will it take to get out of my system just smoking once?

Also, if I got someone elses pee, how long would it last and still show up as negative on the drug test if i used it?

if you've never smoked before...a couple of days to a week.
it all depends on your metablism too...the faster metabolism...the sooner it leaves your body. working out and drinking lots of water will speed up the process too.

as for someone elses pee....if they didnt smoke it will always show up negative no matter how long ago they gave you their pee lol

I don't think anyone in these forums should answer drug test questions, all it does is enable the person using to continue using drugs. If the person using does not know the answer that person should be doing there own research not depending on others to answer there question. Whats everyone Else's take on this?

I think that being objective about the issue is a step in the right direction toward a better solution for society.

We all know the war on drugs is a never-ending waste of resources and has caused the United States to become the prison nation of the world. The truth is there has never been a successful drug-free society in the history of humanity.

I'm not saying I agree that all drugs should be sold on every cornerstore, but I think by discussing single cases can lead to a more enlightened public opinion of the issue as a whole.

I don't think answering questions about drugs enables or persuades people to use them. Similarly, asking someone if they're suicidal doesn't make them more so, and giving someone a flu shot doesn't make them want to go kiss people who are sick.

I've been clean for roughly two weeks. I applied @ Mike's Express Car Wash and they do a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug tests. I will probably show up dirty so I have a few questions.
1) If i fail do they notify my parents?
2) Is there any kind of detox drink I can buy at a health food store?
3) Do blockers work and how much are they?

What does this mean?!
I was handed a sheet with this printed on it from the manager with a place for me and my parents to sign about the drug testing.

THC is present in the blood and urine for about 30 days as a general rule, but certain factors can change this. Depends on how much and how long you have smoked, and THC is stored in fat cells, so if you have a lower fat to muscle ratio it will be in your system for less time. Goldenseal capsules (found in health food stores) can be taken, but have to be taken for at least a week to be effective and are not 100% effective in every case. You also need to find out if they do urine or hair testing - hair testing is what most companies use now because it is nearly foolproof. A blueprint for every substance you ingest comes out in your hair follicles and the shampoos they sell to cleanse it are nothing but a scam. My brother did the goldenseal thing and drank detox tea for a week and passed his urine test, and he smoked every day for a long time, so it could work IF they just do a urine screening on you and you have time to cleanse. Answer to 2nd Question Update: This means that the doc will report a positive test but not necessarily which component they found. This also means they will probably not inform your parents due to confidentiality.

Hi everybody, I recently took a FINGERNAIL drug detection test. They took all of my fingernail clippings from all of my fingers. My hair was too short so they said they had to use my fingernails. I have been clean now for 1 year, 5months, and a couple days. What are the chances of me testing positive? My company recently started doing random drug tests on its employees. Sucks huh? But anyway, your HONEST and KNOWLEDGEABLE answers will be greatly appreciated. Once again, THANKS IN ADVANCE!

It depends on how far the tester will go back. Usually, if it's for a job, they only go back - to up a year usually. You should be fine. Since they just started it, they probably aren't looking that far...possibley 6 months at the most. Myself, I've been there & done that & I would be more worried about giving a hair sample if I were you...than a nail sample. With the hair, they can go back up to 5 yrs.
