I am starting a new job and had to take a drug test. I am not a normal smoker. I used to smoke and then I quit . But I was out with a friend on Wensday around 9 and I smoked 1 menthol ciggarete. I had to take a urine drug test on Friday morning for a hospital that does not allow smoker nor do they hire smokers. I was wondering if the nicotine will show up on my drig test?

If a company will not hire you because you are a smoker they are subjecting you to discrimination. That is against the law. The most a company can do legally is mandate no smoking laws in their establishment. If you do not get this prospective job because you smoke, contact your local legislator.
