Cocaine Test

I took a drug test and it showed up positive for cocaine and i have not been around it whatsoever. Iam currently taking wellbutrin 150mg, Straterra100mg, Trazadone300mg and am curious to know if that would be effecting the drug test. Iam very concerned what could be breaking down in my body.

It is also possible that they mixed your test up with another person's. The labs are not infallible. If you know you didn't use cocaine that seems like a real possibility. Sorry that happened to you.

A police-approved test for cocaine has revealed surprising results in some unexpected places

I recently failed a urine drug test and the ng/ml level seemed outrageous,
some minor details: I'm under 18, 6ft tall, 140 lbs. I tested positive for cocaine with a "Benzoylecgonine GC/MS Conf" ng/ml level of 14760.
Could anyone explain to me what this number represents, what is considered high and low, and how a high number effects your health?

ng/ml means Nanograms per Milliliter.
Drug test cut-offs for cocaine is 100 ng/ml
(anything less doesn't constitute a positive cocaine test)

Your ng/ml number also depends on how long prior to the drug test you used. Benzoylecgonine is a metabolite of cocaine, not the actual cocaine detected in your urine. A higher number means you more recently used cocaine.

How high a number effects your health? Death from cocaine can occur in persons using as little as 1 line of cocaine (~10mg). However your ng/ml number cannot predict that sense it depends entirely on when you used cocaine versus when your test was done.

How far back does a mouth swab test detect cocaine in your saliva?

Generally speaking, swab tests that test saliva can only go back about 72 hours maximum (there are also 24-hour and 12-hour tests). Also speaking generally, cocaine is completely out of your system in about 72 hours. Of course it depends on your metabolism, how much you've been using, etc. A good plan is to give it a week before your test--just to be safe--and if you're worried, you should drink A LOT of water to help flush out your system.

That--among other things--is what's awesome about cocaine--it's out of your system pretty quickly. Even if they pee test you (which can trace things like marijuana from MONTHS back), the coke will be G-O-N-E in like 3-4 days.

Christian Okoye the Nigerian Nightmare according to my friend, got busted with cocaine, or tested positive. I can't find anything about this anywhere on the internet. Is it true?

My parent's are upset because my mother heard today that the cocaine energy drink that my brother has been drinking could cause him to test positive for cocaine the drug on a drug test, does anyone know the truth about this? I highly doubt that this energy drink would cause a positive result, but please help me find proof for my parents. I don't promote the use of energy drinks, but I would like to get some of the heat off of my brother.

No he will not test positive for anything other then maybe caffeine and sugar, it is only the name of the product. It is like drinking red bull but stronger.
