I am scared about a blood test. I am a kid. I tried twice but could not do it. does anybody have any suggestions
you are not alone . lots of us are scared of having needles stuck in us. it is useless to tell you that it is painless even though it is painless . i would suggest that you tell the phlebotomist that you are afraid of needles. they will help you get through it . once you have had it done you should lose your fear.
This may be better than the other video of the blood test I have. I go to same clinic and same lab for my blood test. It don#39;t hurt or bruise ...
I've had loads of blood tests done due to a reoccurring sickness (tonsilitis). I ended up needing surgery and they did a blood test before the surgery. I've also given blood many times and they obviously test the blood prior to giving it to someone who needs it.
What exactly do they test for during those blood tests? If you have hiv, stds, lupis, leukemia, or cancer unknowingly will these show up on the blood tests?

I am do for a physical exam, and I am wondering if they run a blood test or an X-ray. If so what do they check for in the blood test and x-ray?
The cbc is done to check for anemia or possible low grade infections. They may also do a chem panel to check liver function, kidney function, and cholesterol levels. Xrays aren't usually a part of a basic physical.
I got a physical and they said I needed a urine test and blood test.

I had a blood test done about a month ago because i just started a new job and a local hospital. If they found anything wrong with my blood would they have contacted me? I haven't heard anything from them regarding my blood test. What all does a blood test determine?
Considering the fact that its a job at a hospital, they were probably checking your Hepatitis antibody levels, as well as checking to see if you had any other communicable diseases such as Syphilis, AIDS, etc. They may also have been conducting drug screening to make sure there wasn't an immediate indication of drug use.
They should have told you exactly what they were testing for prior to drawing your blood and submitting it to the lab.

I agree they look normal, a progesterone level of 30 is all you need to confirm that you have ovulated. You have to keep in mind too that these bloods are called cd21 but actually are suppose to be 7dpo, so if your not the typical average 28 day girl who ovulates on cd14 they can be slighty out either way. Flying colours though!
